Refund Policy

At Vigne Selvagge, we take the quality of every bottle seriously.

Faulty wine

If you believe a wine you have received is genuinely faulty, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at ivano@vigneselvagge.com with a description of the issue and a photo of the bottle. We will assess each case individually and offer a replacement or refund where appropriate.

Please note that the following characteristics are not defects — they are natural expressions of minimal intervention winemaking:

Cloudiness or natural sediment in unfiltered wines. Slight re-fermentation in bottle. Unconventional or unexpected aromas. Colour variation between vintages.

A genuine fault would include cork taint (a musty, wet cardboard smell), excessive oxidation, or vinegar-like aromas.

We do not accept returns on wine that has been opened and consumed beyond a reasonable tasting amount; this does not affect your statutory rights under EU consumer law.

Damaged in transit

If bottles arrive broken or damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage and the packaging. We will send a replacement or issue a full refund — there is no need to return the damaged bottles.

Right of withdrawal

Under EU consumer law, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving any reason. This applies to unopened bottles in their original condition and packaging.

To exercise this right, contact us at ivano@vigneselvagge.com within 14 days of delivery. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as the bottles remain your responsibility until they reach us.

We will refund the full purchase price, including original standard delivery costs, within 14 days of receiving the returned bottles, using the same payment method you used for the purchase.

Refunds

Approved refunds are processed within 14 days and issued to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take a few additional days for the amount to appear on your statement.
